The Santa Barbara Scottish Rite Language Center is a non-profit center that provides screenings, evaluations, and therapy services to preschool through kindergarten age children. In operation since 1984, the center is a philanthropy of the Scottish Rite, a concordant body of the Freemasons. One of 170 Rite Care Centers across the U.S., our Center is located in downtown Santa Barbara on the 4th floor of the Masonic Center.
As with all facilities across the nation, the Santa Barbara facility is staffed by licensed Speech and Language Pathologists. Additionally, nearly 50 children are provided weekly speech and language therapy each week in order to facilitate successful communication.
All therapy services and programs are made possible through the generosity of donations, grants and special events which are a gift to the community. Visit our national interactive map here for more information on Rite Centers around the U.S.
